My computer doesn’t seem to be able to run Rockin’ Math. Why?
Rockin’ Math uses Silverlight, which is described below. Most computers do not have it
preloaded, and it can be downloaded for free
at
http://www.microsoft.com/silverlight/resources/install.aspx
After following Microsoft’s installation procedure, if you still experience difficulties please contact us at support@rockinmath.com
What is Silverlight, and why do I need to install it?
Silverlight is Microsoft's new technology to bring animation and more sophisticated
applications to the web. Rockin' Math uses Silverlight because of its speed, graphics and
animation capabilities.
Why can't I find the curriculum for my state?
Currently we have 1st through 3rd grade curriculums for about 40 states in the US. Other
state curriculums are being worked on, so for now you can just pick "Other" as your state,
or pick a nearby state.
Why is there a yellow star by some of the activities and skills?
When your child does the assessment, Rockin’ Math automatically identifies the activities which
teach the skills they got incorrect on the test by placing a star next to the activity.
As the activities are completed the star will disappear.
Why is there a notepad/pencil graphic by some of the activities?
When an activity is assigned by a teacher or parent, the student sees this graphic next to the
assigned activity.
When the activity or skill is completed, the graphic disappears.
