Individual assessments help you know where your child should begin or what needs reinforcement, while the skills and activities are entirely self-paced. As a home schooling parent you have full access to the resources offered to teachers, including details on each child’s status and progress, the ability to make specific assignments, and an evaluation of progress resolving the latest testing scores. Because Rockin’ Math is online your children can enjoy the activities at home, at the library, or anywhere wireless will take you!

Each activity has an instructive “hint” button which provides extra guidance for the concepts and skills the student has not yet mastered.

Assessment	Starting your child off with the assessment is key! Not only does the assessment assist you in identifying your child’s current ability level in that skill, but it clearly identifies with a star any critical concepts that are not yet fully mastered, and easily guides your child to the specific activities to master those concepts.
Study by Skill	Children learn best at their own pace when beginning at the right level. The “Study by Skill” tab guides your child from the most basic through to the more advanced concepts of each skill. Some children thrive with the basics and confidently catch up to grade level, while other s quickly progress into higher grade levels, each at their individual pace! When paired with the assessment feature, Rockin’ Math clearly identifies your child’s current level of mastery and off they go!
Study by Grade	All the skills learned in a specific grade are shown on the “Study by Grade” tab. A percentage is shown next to each skill, so your child can strive to reach 100% for each skill. The activities performed by your child for each skill are based on their home state and grade level. Once they’ve fully mastered the requirements for their current grade, either their parent or their teacher can easily advance them to the next grade.
Assignments	The assignment feature is a great way for parents to identify what skills they would like their child to work on. In addition, Rockin’ Math will automatically assign activities based on your child’s individual performance on their assessment, as mentioned above. Your child simply completes the activities marked with a star symbol. Activities which you assign are identified with a notepad and pencil symbol. Because Rockin’ Math is fully accessed on line from any location, the student can easily begin an assignment at school, and complete it at home, the library, etc.
Instructive Hint Feature	Each of the hundreds of Rockin’ Math activities includes a ‘Hint’ button which your child can click when they’re unsure or don’t know how to do the current activity. This hint button assists parents by providing your child with additional information and modeling how to accurately answer the current question. There are built in features to insure that your child is learning from the hint button, not relying on it to complete the activity.
