Rockin’ Math makes learning fun and easy for students. Appealing characters,
positive acknowledgements, bright colors, sound effects, and clear progress
indicators ensure that students stay engaged and excited to learn! There are
hundreds of activities which cover every aspect of math skills for the student’s
grade level and home state.
Each activity has an instructive “hint” button which provides extra guidance for the concepts and skills the student has not yet mastered.

Study by Skill
 |
Students learn best at their own pace when beginning at the right level. The “Study by Skill” tab guides
the student from the most basic through to the more advanced concepts of each skill. Some students thrive
with the basics and confidently catch up to grade level, while other students quickly progress into higher
grade levels- each at their individual pace! When paired with the assessment feature, Rockin’ Math clearly
identifies the student’s current level of mastery and off they go!
|
Student Assessment
 |
Students complete the comprehensive grade level assessment in less than an hour. The assessment is based
on their state requirements for their current grade. After the assessment, activities are automatically
assigned to the student based on their performance. These custom assignments identify trouble areas that
have yet to be mastered, and are often basic, foundation concepts which were not fully mastered and are the
root of current misunderstandings. By regularly taking tests and completing the marked activities, the student
will fully master the concepts and quickly increase test scores.
|
Study by Grade
 |
All the skills learned in a specific grade are shown on the “Study by Grade” tab. A percentage is shown next to
each skill, so the student can strive to reach 100% for each skill. The activities performed by a student for each
skill are based on the student’s home state and grade level. Once they’ve fully mastered the requirements for their
current grade, the student’s teacher or parent can advance them to the next grade.
|
Assignments
 |
Students can be assigned activities in 3 ways: by their teacher, their parent, or automatically after an
assessment as described above. After an assessment, activities which need to be practiced are identified
with a star symbol. Activities which are assigned by a teacher are identified with a notepad and pencil
symbol. Because Rockin’ Math is fully accessed on line from any location, the student can easily begin an
assignment at school, and complete it at home, the library, etc.
|
Instructive Hint Feature
 |
Each of the hundreds of Rockin’ Math activities includes a ‘Hint’ button which students can click when they’re
unsure or don’t know how to do the current activity. This hint button assists teachers and parents by directly
providing the student with additional information and modeling how to accurately answer the current question.
There are built in features to insure that the student is learning from the hint button, not relying on it to
complete the activity.
